NUS Focus group looking for involvement from PGR students that teach!

Are you a Postgraduate Research student that teaches? Want to be part of NUS focus group exploring support for PGR students that teach.

My name is Trish and I am a new Manager in the Students’ Union with a remit of making sure that we engage and consult with as many of our students as possible throughout the year. A huge area of development for us will be in developing how we communicate and engage with our Postgraduate students.

On Wednesday the 31st of August NUS is looking to hold a lunchtime focus group at 12pm for one and a half hours maximum with postgraduate research students that teach to develop an understanding of how postgraduate students take on the teaching role and what kinds of support they find helpful. The research is part of a wider NUS project to develop support and provision for Postgraduate students.

All participants will receive an honorarium of a ten pound Amazon voucher and we will also provide lunch and refreshments.

We are trying to find a range of PGR students from a variety of disciplines and if you think you might be able to come along and take part then we would really love to hear from you. If you could email me here. I would really like to hear from you and involve you in the project.
