Applications are now invited for Manchester Research Scholar (GTRA) award. This prestigious award is granted in open competition and on academic merit. Award holders will be expected to contribute to the School of Education’s Teaching and Research development activities.
The award will be for 3 years starting September 2011. Continued funding will be subject to successful academic progress.
The value of the award for the academic year 2011-12 will be £17,322; this covers cover fees (£3,732 home students, £11,700 international students) with the balance to be paid as a contribution to maintenance costs. Additionally a Research Training Grant of £500 annually is available.
To be eligible to apply you must have been accepted for, or are in the first year of a PhD programme at the School of Education, University of Manchester
